Erin was most recently Projects and Accounts Manager at DJ Resources where she took responsibility for various asset management, land management and permitting projects. She obtained permits covering more than 100,000 acres for horizontal wells (in bilateral directions) in two short months for the assets DJ controlled. She managed drilling and operational budgets, with a specific emphasis on vendor relations and cost/quality control. Erin came to DJ following the sale of Bolo Systems, an oil and gas software provider, to Wellpoint Systems, a publicly traded company. Prior to Bolo Systems, Erin had a successful entrepreneurial career in sales and real estate development; originating and closing multi-million dollar transactions, with total sales of more than $60.0 million in less than 5 years. She designed, engineered and patented a new foundation design for manufactured homes that revolutionized the industry by making the home ownership accessible to qualified middle class families by using FHA and conventional financing. She sold her company to a Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. subsidiary. Erin was raised in Houston, Texas, and mentored from the age of 7 by the leading oil and gas entrepreneurs in Texas—learning the business from the ground floor. She was a scholarship recipient to several universities, and ultimately chose the University of Texas because the Cockrell School of Engineering was funded and built by one of her mentors.
